Air Quality Laboratory

Air Quality Laboratory, being recently established is fully equipped with relevant equipment and samplers for monitoring ambient air quality including concentration levels of sulfur dioxide, nitrogen oxides, carbon monoxides, ammonia and particulate matter of different aerodynamic diameter. The laboratory has a delicate advanced German-based manufactured micro-balance that can measure the weight of a matter with the precision of 1 µg. A latest US-based manufactured size-segregated impactor is also installed in this laboratory that can collect particulate samples of aerodynamic diameters ranging from 56 nm to 20 µg. At present, a process of getting more equipment in this laboratory is in progress.
