This lab facilities the physical and strength characterization of building material. Mainly, the lab aims for demonstrating the basic principles in the area of strength and mechanics of materials and structural analysis to the undergraduate students through a series of experiments. All the equipment's are properly calibrated in a periodic manner. Final year Student’s project works on testing of various materials like composite materials, different metal and metal alloys have also been done in this laboratory. Students are also utilizing this lab for the preparation of specimen to be tested.
Major Equipment: Electronic universal testing machine 400 KN, Impact testing machine, Torsion testing machine, Spring testing machine, Hardness Testing Machine, etc.
